Hypertext for the Perplexed is here for you!

Okay, technically, Hypertext for the Perplexed—HT4TP—will be here for you. Soon. Hypertext for the Perplexed is an unwieldy undertaking. Since its inception, HT4TP has spun somewhat out of the control of its erstwhile creator, Autumn Ward, as she has become progressively more confounded by complexity, but ever more determined to explicate the inexplicable. Autumn is kind of a detail-oriented completist, so this is par for the course for her, but, still, she really cut out a complicated project for herself. Years later, she’s still hypertexting as fast as she is able, but she’s only about 80% done.

HT4TP is slated to premiere in the forthcoming videogame Gardens of Danu, with a tentative release date in 2026. At this point, Autumn is not the factor holding up the release, but she fears she may be at any moment. You may assist Autumn by signing up for her newsletter, thus putting additional pressure on her to finish already. Autumn will attempt to send you a newsletter every few months, to apprise you of what’s happening with Gardens of Danu, HT4TP, and Autumn’s other creative work.

For real. Please use the form (at the bottom of the sidebar on desktop or on the bottom of the bottom on mobile) and sign up.

Hahahaha. No.

Suit yourself. But the form is over there at the bottom of the sidebar if you change your mind. How about Instagram? You can follow Autumn there: @glimmerlands. Or in the Fediverse: unredacted.social/@AutumnWard. Or maybe you’d like to receive a newsletter from Hypothesis (the home of Gardens of Danu). Head over there to learn more about Hypothesis projects.
